Here’s how to create bookings for your guests!
You can create either a reservation (booking with a start and end time, the guest can enter and leave as many times as he likes) or a Park Direct (booking which starts immediately and has no endtime. The guest can enter and leave once). Furthermore, you can make the booking paid or unpaid.
How to create a booking
- Open the My Way app.
- Make sure you’re in the "Host" section of the app.
- If you're not in the "Host" section, go to Settings > "Switch to Hosting."
- Go to "Bookings."
- Tap the "Calendar +" button in the top right corner.
License plate
- If you don't know the license plate for the booking yet, you can leave this field blank or enter a placeholder plate. The license plate can be updated until the booking starts.
Configuration of the booking
- First and Last name, not required;
- Reference, a free input field you can use to mark the booking;
- License plate, one or multiple vehicles can be added. If left empty, a booking with a placeholder license plate is created, the license can later be changed by the admin.
- Booking type: Park Direct or reservation.
- A Park Direct starts right away, has no end time and allows you to drive in and out once
- A reservation has a start and end time, and allows the guest to enter and exit as many times as he likes
- You can create a Valet or normal booking.
- This can't be changed after the booking is created.
- The booking can be paid or unpaid.
- When a booking is unpaid, the guest can enter once. After entering, the guest must pay for the booking in order to use it. So before the guest leaves, he has to pay for the booking via the My Way app tablet, or QR code.
- When the booking is paid the guest won't have to pay for the booking in order to exit
Note: the status of the created booking is "Not parked". If the guest is already parked, change the status to "Vehicle Parked".
